BACKGROUND AND  PHILOSOPHY

Diane Hunter has 30 years of experience assessing and treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries. She has worked all over the world with elite athletes at major and multisport games, working with sports such as judo, swimming, badminton and hockey. She has a special interest in equestrian sports, racing in particular and has worked for professional jockeys in the UK for over 18 years and visits racecourses all over Scotland to keep them healthy and racing.

She set up her private practice in Glasgow's  Southside,  Physiologix in 2007 and is delighted to be full time at Diane Hunter Physiotherapy in Muirhead.

Diane is a great believer in hands-on physiotherapy techniques and has spent a lot of time learning spinal, joint and pelvic neuromusculoskeletal techniques over the years. In addition to this, she has a wealth of experience in strapping, acupuncture and various types of massage.  As well as this, Diane is a great advocate of specific exercise programmes tailored for each individual, whether it be sport specific or to help combat the stresses and strains of daily working life.

 Near the border of East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire, Muirhead is conviently located just off the M73 and M80 motorways, handy for areas such as Lenzie, Auchinloch, Woodilee,  Kirkintilloch, Stepps, Gartcosh and Chryston.
